James Duffy has over 35 years of accomplished experience in the Government Bond community where he has held senior management positions at some of Wall Street's most prestigious firms. He was a First Vice President and National Sales Manager of the Government Bond Dealership of Dean Witter Reynolds, where he also served as Head Trader. Later, Jim was a Managing Director at Merrill Lynch and a Partner and Managing Director at Wertheim Schroder, where he established the firm as a Primary dealer. Jim was a Principal and Managing Director of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette where he was National Sales Manager of the Government Security Dealership as well as co-head of trading. Jim last served as a Senior Managing Director and the Head of Fixed Income at International Strategy and Investment.
Jim graduated from Iona College with a BBA in Finance in 1969 and joined the United States Marine Corps Reserve, receiving an honorable discharge in 1974. He returned to Iona and received an MBA in 1975. |
